Millennium Wave Securities LLC, and Millennium Wave Advisors (the Millennium
Companies) are providing this notice to explain our information collection
practices and other important information. Federal law gives consumers the
right to limit some but not all sharing. Federal law also requires us to tell
you how we collect, share and protect your personal information.
INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We collect nonpublic personal
information about you from the following sources:
- Information we receive about you on
applications and other forms including subscription documents, questionnaires
and online registration forms. This information may include your name, address,
telephone number, e-mail address, social security number, income and other
financial data, investment experience, etc.
- Information about your transactions
with us, our affiliates and others. This includes information about other
products you may have purchased through the Millennium Companies and others,
information about additions, redemptions, etc.
- Information we receive about you
from third parties such as brokers and selling agents. This includes
information about their review of your investment application for products the
Millennium Companies sponsor that such firms sell.
DISCLOSURE OF YOUR
INFORMATION
We do not disclose any personal
or financial information about you, whether you are our current or former
client, without your authorization or direction, except as disclosed below.
We may share information about
you with affiliated and nonaffiliated third parties, in order for them to
assist us in providing services to you, and otherwise as permitted by law. You
may not limit the sharing of this information. However, nonaffiliated third
parties who receive information about you in order to assist us in providing
services to you are restricted from using your information for any other
purpose, except to the extent we have a solicitor or joint marketing
arrangement with them, as further described below.
We may also share information
about you with our affiliated financial service companies as reasonably needed
to provide you with the financial services that you have engaged us to perform,
or otherwise to identify services which may serve your financial, investment or
planning objectives. We may also disclose information that we collect about
you with nonaffiliated third party financial services companies with which we
have solicitor and joint marketing arrangements. If you are a resident of California, we will not share your information if you notify us that you do not wish us
to share this information with non-affiliated third parties. A separate
document entitled Important Privacy Choices for Consumers is included with this
Privacy Notice that provides additional information under California law.
We may also disclose all of the
information that we collect about you with nonaffiliated third party financial
services companies with which we have joint marketing arrangements, such as
Altegris Investments, Inc., so they may contact you to collect information to
qualify you to receive the Accredited Investor newsletter and introduce you to
a wide range of alternative investments. We only share your personal
information with nonaffiliated companies for joint marketing arrangements if
they agree to limit their use of the information only to the purposes for which
it was provided. If you are a resident of California, we will not share your
information if you notify us that you do not wish us to share this information
with nonaffiliated third party financial services companies with whom we have
joint marketing arrangements. A separate document entitled Important Privacy
Choices for Consumers is included with this Privacy Notice that provides
additional information under California law.
If there is a change to our
Privacy Policy, the new policy will be posted on our web site with a visible
effective date, and is available by email or post when requested.
CONFIDENTIALITY AND SECURITY
We restrict access to nonpublic
personal information about you to those employees and third parties who need to
know that information to assist us in providing services to you. We maintain
physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with federal
standards to guard your nonpublic personal information.
